Lucien remained seated on the king-sized bed with his eyes shut tight and he continued cultivating. He could hear loud sounds outside like a battle had taken place but he refused to move. As an imperial knight, he had no reason to act unless he is sure the situation is serious! Lucien originally thought that this was an assassination attempt but after hearing a series of explosions, Lucien was confused a bit. If this was an assassination attempt, it wouldn't be this noisy.
