Thinking back on it, Derik realized that the god realms in this world is just like theirs. There can only be one death God and one God of life. So what happens when a new cultivator reaches the demigod realm and is only one step away from reaching the god realms with the same authority with the current God of that pathway?
If he were the god he would most likely kill the person and avoid a future threat! Realizing this, Lucien couldn't help but shiver. His gaze darkened as he tried to consider how many demigods that may have died at the hands of the gods of this world. Even if the emperor realm magic beast managed to kill him, it would still be killed the moment the Raizen god beast recovers his strength!
