The guest were seated around the large cedar wood table. Beverages and snacks easily fitting into the cut-out indents in the custom-made table.
Aphrah pulled out some Tarot looking cards. Xen jumped in and stated she didn't like Tarot cards.
"Calm down. Let me explain these. This is my game presentation week, remember. I won't lead wrongly. Now, on the back of these cards is a genre. They have a character represented in another deck. The tricky part to the game is the ending. All endings are happy except one. There are 12 HEA cards, and one tragedy card. Try to discard or send your neighbor a message with the tragedy card. The players write a short story. Beginning, middle and ending have to be included with the represented characters. The story has to be disguised so you have no idea about the cards the authors hold. Then sort of like "Clue", you have to figure out who holds the tragedy card. Whoever holds the tragedy card then loses if someone figures him out or wins if he is still in the game. The loser of each round is eliminated. The winners each get a prize until there is one winner and they get the complete prize. I haven't worked out all the details, but…what do you think?" Aphrah asked.
