"Later, I will explain everything," I tell her.
Pulling away she gives me a big brown puppy-eyed stare.
The same one she would give me when she wanted me to let a critter go and not eat it.
"Where are we"? I ask, ignoring her like I usually do.
"Master Ijora says it is another world where time flows faster than ours" she replies.
"What else have they told you"?
"You expect me to tell you everything, while you tell me nothing"? she asks.
If she was talking to anyone else she would have snarled.
"Yes," I reply with a straight face while looking directly into her eyes.
The stare-off lasts not even ten seconds before she breaks.
"They told me a lot, come on, I'll explain on the way" she responds while her voice echoes in my mind.
"How come you don't have noise"? she asks.
"I'll explain that later as well," I tell her.
