"Where in Lums name have you been"? Yuit asks when he spots me on the street walking towards the inn.
"Why are you looking for me"? I ask
"We leave tonight before first light" he says with a wide grin but then stops walking towards me.
"Did you get taller"? he looks me up and down with a curious expression.
"Sure did".
I didn't fail to notice how I gained an inch and a half but the baggy clothing hide it well.
"Apparently the wind rider is damaged and they diverted here, they stink something horrible".
"Imagine an outhouse in the middle of a heatwave, and then put it in a room" his eyes are wide when describing it.
"You where on it"?
"Along with anyone else willing to give them food, silver or stones" He says.
"It's next to the mage tower now, want to go"?
Before I can even answer he starts walking in that direction speaking of all sorts of wonders.
It took him a while to notice I had turned into the inn.
Coming back he finds me in the back yard tuning the instrument.
