"What do you mean"?
My question comes as I look around at everyone mobilizing in a hurry.
He sighs, while rubbing the back of his neck.
"Hamel is a place where the beasts are lured and killed".
"It isn't a town, more like a hunting and fishing outpost owned by the 'association'".
"The past couple of years have been hard because there have been more beasts and monsters than people here".
"The whole of Karn needs more mages...".
He pinches his brow in frustration.
"Look... Hamel isn't a place for you, once the beast tide is over I will give you a letter of introduction to the hunters guild in Idris".
The silence overtakes us once more.
"You can be happy kid, you don't have anyone or anything they can take from you".
"You don't have to run... just bend the knee".
He is talking about the demons, the perceived upper class.
