Me and the old Emperor is walking on the street, but other than houses of my people there is almost nothing to see there but still.. He looks so damn fascinated by everything he sees, his even looking at the other races like they are some kind of special beings.
"Why are you looking so fascinated by this? We are just walking in the street, there is almost nothing to see in this town." I said I am curious on how he act and my curiosity reach it`s limit. "There is nothing to see here? Lord Guardian, as you can see every single houses here are made with different precious stones and materials, not to mention those plants and flowers in their mini gardens in their houses, for people who live there those are nothing, but for us who always search for those things this is a treasure trove." The Old Emperor said and I look, although Icy always tell that, it`s like she`s teasing us, but even so, this is theirs.
"Don`t even think on snatching a thing from their garden, specially flowers, those fairies and pixies will get angry, and you don`t want them to get angry." I said and the Old Emperor laugh. "Of course, even if I am tempted to do that, I am not stupid to actually do that, I can see that those taking care of those plants and flowers are special, you would need to fought them to a death match before you get their precious plants and flowers, the gain is not enough for the lost, I rather have a friendly relationship with all of them rather than them getting angry at us." The Old Emperor said and I nod, then when we reach the green houses his eyes started to glitter.
"Although it`s cold outside, every single greenhouses has their own climate, how`s that?" He asked and I look at the crystals hanging in the ceiling and smile. "It`s because of those crystals, they can store heat or cold, after all those threes, plants and flowers even those herbs you see is special, they can`t live in another climate, like the other out there." I said and pointed the other Greenhouse.
"The things stored in there can only live in cold weather, they can only live in a below zero temperature that is why crystals there can only make cold weather, the elves send their cold magic to those crystal everyday to make sure those plants and other living things can live there peacefully." I said and the Old Emperor nod. "I guess if I plan to make the same greenhouses it would be hard, first of all those Magic Absorber Crystal are hard to find, not to mention those elves have their specialized magic, I can see they love to tend their plants too, what about those factories?" He asked and when we go out, we saw the other buildings.
"That is where they make our cloths, the other one near to that building is where we make our utensils, the other one next to that is where they make silk threads, from the spiders and lotus flowers from the pond." I said and he nod and look at the pond I am talking too and shook his head.
"Those are golden fire lotus, it`s a very special lotus, that can only be bought and special places, but here? It`s like another weed, they are popping like crazy here, and you guys are extracting their fiber to make silk? If those special places know your doing it like that to make cloths they will get so jealous and attack this place." The Old Emperor said and I chuckle, they need to first pass the Abyss Forest if their human and for those demons? They need to pass the Icy Abyss, only those strong one can do that, but people here can surely kill them, not like last year, people here got stronger at least 10 fold than the past.
"They will have a hard time reaching this place." I said and the Old Emperor laugh and nod. "Yeah, when my son told me about a town in the Abyss, I can`t believed what I hear and make him repeat it three times! Now I know now that this place truly exist, a legendary town in a legendary place, when I tell this to my friends they will surely not believed me and tell me that I am getting senile with my age." The Old Emperor said and I laugh, I don`t know about that, but if he did, he will die.
"Don`t even think about telling this place, Lord Guardian is so generous by inviting you here, if you don`t respect that my city will wage war to your Empire!" The Old Mayor said, of course when they found out about the Nolan Empire got an access to the town they bug all my people protecting them even kowtowing to let them go, in the end Santarea and Micalagua got annoyed and beg me for this Old Mayor and Old Thief to let them go! and guess what?! they always go here after preaching in the morning and only go back when it`s afternoon to preach again! they always drink tea with the elves or help farming sometimes!
"Can your city defend the itself by my army without the help of the town?" The Emperor said and soon the mayor`s aura change and a burst of magic power appear! I heard Lucia give them gift the power of the God of Destruction is in this Mayor`s hand and the God of Slaughter is in the Old Thief`s hand! Lucia like them so much on how they revere me! I need to talk to Lucia giving all the other authority she get from the other gods in the great war in the past.
"Now do you think we have no power to defend our city? We even have the power to defeat your Empire! As long as we have our faith we being defeated to any Empire is impossible!" The Old Thief said and the Emperor was shock.
"They have the power of the God of Destruction and the God of Slaughter, you could say they only need to learn how to use those power and they will both can become genuine gods." I said and the Emperor was shocked to hear that and look at the two who is wearing a priest outfit, and now kneeling in front of us.
"Lord Guardian, thank you for everything!" They both said in unison and I shook my head. "You two... I am not the one who give that authority Lucia is the one you should thank in that matter!" I said but they both shook their head and raise their head.
"We thank her Goddess everyday we saw her! Without the Lord Guardian Her Goddess will surely not do that! and without of faith to you her Goddess will not adore us! even if the Lord Guardian said it`s only his whim, we are eternally greatful!" the Old Thief said and the Old Mayor nod, I really hate dealing with anyone involving that cursed place, I wonder how my generals adore that cursed city?!
"Anyway, lunch time is near, do the two of you want to eat with us?" I asked changing the subject, it`s helpless to talk to this two believer after all. They both smile and their eyes started to glitter. "It would be our honor!" They both said in unison, the Old Emperor smile wryly to see how faithful this two are, they follow us while the me and Old Emperor talked.
"You know this two are so lucky they revere you, not any other god... I mean Guardian!" The Emperor corrected his word, I hate being called god after all.
"We are truly blessed." The Old Mayor said and the Old Thief nod again and again. "Your not so bad after all!" The Old Mayor said and the Emperor laugh and nod too. Oh fking gods! I have a feeling something bad will happen if this three get along!
"You too have a religion right?" He asked and they both nod. "What is the name of that Religion?" He asked again. "It`s Blessed Guardian!" they both said in unison and the Old Emperor laugh and nod.
"You make your preaching temple in my Empire, I don`t mind, don`t worry, not like the other religion out there, there will be no tax for the Empire!" He said and the other two have a glittering eyes! I knew it! this is bad!
At that time I am just thinking it is bad, but I have no idea in the future that stupid religion this two started will be the main religion in the whole world! not only in the Humans but in the other races too!
