Being unknow by anyone is truly remarkable I can see people passing and ignoring me like I am nothing but another face in their view no one disturb me at all! Now I can truly enjoy all that this cursed town might offer.
"Your Majesty, here are all different meat skewer from different stalls." Marina said then she put all of it on the table, since yesterday we are trying all the foods from different place, from the most expensive restaurant in this cursed town to the most poor stalls, few of those foods is listed and will probably gonna circle in my town and the others? Forgotten and will only live in our memory.
"Your Majesty, this town was just upgraded into city, I am sure in the next few years we will really experience great foods than all of this city can offer right now." Micalagua said and I nod.
"I know, so as much as possible make sure this place will be safe until then, after all we get many things from this town that our don`t have." I said and Micalagua smile and nod, I really wish this city will not try to cross the forbidden line, I know Micalagua she will not hesitate to destroy this place no matter how valuable it is to make sure that the place we live will be safe and sound.
"Anyway, who is the people getting antsy?" I asked. "If I am not mistaken a Hero will pass by this city from their dungeon expedition." Marina said. "Now that I think about it, Dungeons is rare right?" I said and Marina asked.
"Yes your majesty, dungeons is getting rarer by each passing day, after all ones a dungeon core is destroy there is no meaning for the monsters to stay on that place, the magic in the air will become thinner and thinner then they will not respawn and that dungeon will be forgotten and soon rot and gone." Marina said then she take a bite from one of the meat skewer we got.
"Of course there are still dungeons unconquerable even for a hero right now, after all those dungeons exist since the beginning of time and the creatures living there are truly undefeatable, it is like our dungeon, since the ancient time Undead Dungeon exist and until now it`s still unconquerable, although we got almost been defeated, it took them tons of man power and many hero, Michael was just too exceptional after all, his a famed hero after all." Marina said I remember that Heroes here have different level, but the most common hero is the summoned hero, those are the most inexperience hero, luckily when I was summoned in the past, Gods and Goddesses teach me before sending me straight to the land of Three World.
"But sometime those summoned hero has unique skills or weapon along with them, those heroes sometimes become legends, but sadly those heroes are being eyed by many empires no matter how strong they are after they finish their mission the Empires will surely get jealous and plot against them, truly a shame." Marina said how ironic isn`t it? you do many things but ones you finish your mission rather than letting those empires let you bask in glory and fame they will do whatever it takes to destroy you.
"That is greed, everyone tend to have that, specially those who taste the power, they have the most greed. After all, who among those people can fill their thirst for more power? But sometimes few leaders can control their thirst for power, and those people will stand at the very top of the world, with an undefeatable army at their disposal." I said and look out when I heard the people started to cheer up, I guess the Hero finally is here.
But of course not like the others we only care about our business, rather than joining this people, rather that joining that densely pack place, we rather enjoy our foods here.
Soon my peace again was destroy because someone is starring at us now, I look who it was and it was the Hero they are talking about.
"It`s been ages since I see you Michael, what took you in this barren place? You are long away from home." The Hero said, since he knows me... I mean Michael then this two hero has a pass, I look on Michael`s memory and I am right, his from Dinoa family, not like Michael who was summon this person is a real hero train in blood and war.
"The Hero from Dinoa Family, I am enjoying myself here, can you please not block my view, you and your army should go in a different place." I said, Marina and Micalagua look at this Dinoa guy.
"As aloof as ever, are you still trying to find the Legendary Undead Dungeon?" He said and look at Marina and Micalagua then chuckle." Where is your other heroic friend? they are probably wiped out in a dungeon aren`t they!" He said and the other laugh, Micalagua sneer and from her hand a spear appear and pointed it in this guy`s neck.
"One wrong word... And you will see how this spear in your throat!" Micalagua said, when that spear is pointed at his neck, he look in Micalagua`s eye, and as a hero I am sure he detected that Micalagua is not joking and dead serious to kill him right now.
"Karen... your not in your Empire right now, and my Empire is near in this backwater, your the one who should watch the word." He said, wow his not backing out, is it because of this soldier? Even if you call all your soldiers from that unholy god forsaken land he will still die when Micalagua want it.
"Suit yourself... die!" Micalagua said and push the spear that this Dinoa guy easily dodge, if his intuition a second ago was Micalagua is half jokingly now he know she ain`t.
"Enough, let that fool do his normal routine, to flaunt his stupid title as a hero! I wonder what those people from the church thinking?" I said and he pull his sword, but before he could attack another weapon is in his neck again now it is Marina.
"Move and you die, if you dodge that simply attack mine will surely slash that throat of yours for good!" Marina said if right now his running a simulation how to dodge that sword in that distance I am sure he understand he can`t before the sword chop his head off.
"Alright, you three are hot headed, but I am sure we will meet again." He said and tap the sword and Marina hide it, although Marina and Micalagua stopped themselves from killing this man, those Batibats surely sees it, and they are probably planning on how sweet to kill a Hero.
"Anyway, Michael, the church is calling us all Heroes, They believe that something bad happen in our world." He said and I look at him and look at Micalagua and Marina. "What`s that suppose to mean?" Micalagua asked and hide the weapon, since we are acting as Michael`s hero party we should do it all the say, but he look at us with a dire look.
"Did you remember those summoned beings? They are not a Hero nor a Demon Lord, even the Heaven`s messenger is telling the church about this unknown event." He said then we look at the left and saw people giving way and I saw the Mayor.
"We don`t know this event or what is happening in the world, but this place is no fighting zone, our Lord Guardian don`t like fighting, so please seal those weapons away." The Mayor said, that`s right, but this guy is so stupid and smirk to the Mayor.
"Then what if we don`t seal our weapons? What can you do about it?" He said smirking, but soon those Batibats around appear in the Mayor`s back glaring at this stupid person from Dinoa Family.
Every single person with the Hero was shocked and awe, they even scratch their eyes to make sure they didn`t see it wrongly.
"God`s Messengers, but why are there many here?" He asked and look around, He saw many beings flying and standing with Halos on their head. "As you can see this sacred land is protected, heroes who can`t even follow the rule of this small city can leave or seal your weapon." The Mayor said and he also look at us... Oh we are using a Hero`s face.
"Our Apology, Lord Priest." He said and bow, he put a seal on his sword and show it, since the Hero did that the others also follow and seal their weapons, the the Mayor smile and nod.
"Thank you for following our little rules, you can stay in the city as long as your weapon is seal." The Mayor said and leave the spotlight like that.
"This City is truly bizarre, I never see a City without walls and weapons, what if someone invade this city? Are they not scared being invaded by others?" He murmured, his really stupid, first of all this cursed land is near the most fearsome place they can think, who among those fool want to be near in danger? Not to mention we protecting this city is enough.
"Anyway, we will find an inn first, see you around Michael." He said and I nod, although I can feel his crazy killing intent with the Bitabats around that`s virtually impossible, not to mention the real Michael and his party is long out of this world.
"What is that gathering all about?" Marina asked herself, and I look at the smoky sky and smile. "Gather information about that event he was talking about, if it will not affect our lives then let it be, but if this event threaten our place, eliminate them when you see them lurking near this city or the Abyss Forest at all cost." I said and Marina and Micalagua nod. I guess this is the end of our little food spree.
