The Princess looked up when a chunk of meat was placed on her plate. Her confused green eyes stared at Lukel who pretended as though he hadn't done anything.
"That part of the meat is very good. You should have it," Lukel murmured with nonchalance before he took the glass to his mouth again.
Divale tried not to burst out laughing at the embarrassed look he had on his face. "Uh, thank you," she said gently before she reached out to cut from the meat.
"Oh, no one has ever saved the best part for me," Lekali snickered to Divale who shook her head at her friend's incessant teasing.
She didn't know what had gotten into Lekali tonight. Was she planning on making such jokes all night long? The Princess was worried someone would hear them but then again, everyone else seemed too busy with their food to pay any attention to her.
"Here you go, Divale," Mama Luna handed her a plate of vegetables and she took it with a smile.
