The Princess looked at the stream next to her to wash off the awkwardness that settled in as Remore moved toward her.
She knew she could no longer avoid him but still, it made her nervous as she didn't know how he would react.
They were supposed to get married yesterday but today, things were much more different than when his mother had kidnapped her.
"Princess," Remore called her softly which surprised her even more.
He was still dressed in the wedding attire from last night and his hair and face were dirty, indicating he wasn't given a nice place to sleep in.
"I'm-"
"I apo-" both of them spoke at the same time and stopped when they heard the other.
"You can go on," the Princess murmured as she tried her best to avoid his gaze.
"I wanted to apologise for all I have done to you," Remore said which made the Princess snap her head up.
