The Princess locked eyes with Remore who was being held on the ground by the werewolves who surrounded him.
She could see his eyes blazing with accusation, pain, and betrayal as he glared up at her.
She could see so much hurt in his eyes and she felt terrible for being the cause behind it all.
He really didn't deserve any of this.
A werewolf was about to strike him with his sword but the Princess intervened.
"No!" She let her hand out in the air.
Everyone turned towards her with confusion, even Lukel who was behind her.
"He's innocent, he had nothing to do with this. Let him go please," she begged and the werewolves stared at her, unsure of what to do.
Lukel nodded his head from behind her and the werewolves let go of Remore before he scrambled up by himself.
"Divale!" the Princess heard someone calling her name and she turned towards the corridor to see Lekali running down towards her.
