The General saw the Princess coming down the hall which made him quickly open the door as she passed through without taking a single glance at him.
He was about to accompany back to the Castle but a single command of hers made him stop on his feet.
"Don't follow me," she muttered and walked away without a look back.
He bowed until she was out of sight before he turned around, about to lock the cell properly when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't lock it," a voice said from behind him.
The General recognised that voice but he just had to turn back and see if what he heard was real or if his ears were playing pranks on him.
His eyes widened when he saw the Empress right in front of him.
"Y-Your Majesty," he stuttered out in shock.
"I want to see the prisoner the Princess had just seen," the Empress said.
