The Princess blinked her eyes open slowly when she felt something wet all over her face.
When she opened her eyes for the first time, she had to blink severally before her vision could adjust to her surroundings.
She focused her vision on the ceiling and her head was blank for a minute or two as she stared up in confusion.
She then felt the presence of someone else in the room and she turned her head to the left to see a pair of honey-colored orbs staring back at her.
She was surprised to see him here with her as she didn't realize what was going on.
"L-Lukel?" She let out in astonishment.
~What was he doing here?!~ she asked in her head as her throat felt too parched up to speak out loud.
She pushed up and straightened her upper body as she rested her back on the head of the bed.
Then out of nowhere, a striking amount of pain shot up her head and it was as though her head had been banged with a huge hammer.
