"Where do you think you are going with that male slave?!"
The Princess stopped dead in her tracks as she heard the loud voice ring down the hall.
Her hand halted over the doorknob hesitantly and she was debating if she should run into the room and lock herself in there, or she should just face his wrath.
Oh, to hell with it!
The Princess turned around to face her father, the Emperor with an exaggerated smile that resembled a grimace.
"Father," she let out through gritted teeth.
"Divale, where have you been since morning, might I mention, without a single guard accompanying you?!" the King demanded and his face didn't scream happiness at all.
Now, the Princess was scared.
"Um," she gulped.
"Don't lie to me, you know I will know when you lie," Emperor Terre clasped his hands behind his back and looked down at his daughter.
Ugh, why did her father have to have an exceedingly good way of detecting whenever she lied?!
