"Missed me?" the Princess smirked at the werewolf.
"You" the werewolf simply said.
"Yes, me. Is that a way to address your Princess, sweetheart?" the Princess pushed him and stepped into the mansion.
"I never invited you in," the werewolf said.
"Ah, please. I don't need an invitation, I'm welcomed everywhere" the Princess huffed.
"You think very highly of yourself, don't you?" the werewolf crossed his arms.
The Princess's eyes immediately went to his chest that bulged up when he crossed his arms.
~How does he have such things?!~ the Princess wondered.
"Of course," she cleared her throat and then diverted her eyes to his face.
"I think highly of myself because I am high in status," she lifted her head.
"Nice of you" he shrugged.
"You can say you miss me," the Princess smiled and walked towards him.
"Why should I when I didn't?" He raised a perfect eyebrow.
"Ah, playing hard to get, aren't you?" she smirked and got close to him.
"You should move back, Princess" he whispered.
"What if I won't?" She moved even closer to him.
"I know of the stunt you pulled at the grounds, don't pull another" the werewolf muttered.
"Pardon me, what stunt are you talking about?" The Princess pulled an innocent face.
"You-" the werewolf stopped short when he heard someone coming down the hall.
"Are my eyes seeing reality or am I still dreaming? Is this the Princess I see here?" Master Filen walked down the hall.
"It is me, indeed, Master Filen" the Princess bowed.
"What a pleasant surprise, Your Highness. I never expected this" Master Filen bowed to the Princess.
"I know, I am a Crown Princess of surprises" Princess Divale smiled.
"I hope you were welcomed properly as my guest?" Master Filen asked.
"Oh, your slave was marvelous in welcoming me," the Princess turned back and winked at the werewolf whose head was bowed.
"You may leave us now," Master Filen said and the werewolf walked away without a single look back.
The Princess looked at his back longingly as he walked away with a slight pout. He was the reason she came here and if she couldn't see him then why should she be here?
"Let's go, Princess. Let me give you a tour of my humble abode" Master Filen said.
~Humble indeed, I can count how many hectares of land this is~ the Princess inwardly rolled her eyes.
"Sure, let's go" she smiled against her will.
Then the exceedingly boring tour around Master Filen's mansion started.
The Princess already started to regret agreeing to the tour from the first stop they made.
Master Filen was explaining the life history of a painting on the wall for about what seemed like an hour.
He had been going on and on about the artist, the country it was painted, even the type of paints that were used to create the beauty.
And oh, for the love of her life, the Princess felt like strangling him.
Who the heck cares about a stupid painting? She is here to see someone and he is obstructing the meeting.
The Princess snapped in her head.
She looked around the empty hall and her eyes caught something which made her jolt up with excitement.
"Kitchen!" She blurted out.
"Pardon?" Master Filen who was interrupted in the middle of his explanation frowned.
"Kitchen?" He asked again.
"Yes, I would like to see the beauty of your kitchen and learn the architecture behind it," the Princess nodded.
She had just seen the werewolf going into the kitchen and that was why she was insisting to go there.
"Umm, okay. Sure" Master Filen nodded despite the oddity of the request.
"You seem to have a very peculiar taste, Your Highness. I have never had anyone ask to see the kitchen in the middle of a tour" Master Filen said as they walked down the hall.
"Why not? The kitchen is an essential part of the house so it is equally important as other parts of the home" Princess Divale said.
"Of course it is. You seem to have a very deep nature of thinking, my Princess" Master Filen smiled.
"Oh, please. It's part of my attributes" the Princess waved.
"I see. So here's the kitchen"
They entered the kitchen and at once, all the maids and servants bowed their heads for the Master and the Princess.
"Get back to duty" the Princess commanded and they all moved back to their work in hand.
As Master Filen started explaining the architecture of the kitchen, the Princess had already found what she was looking for at the far end of the exit.
The werewolf was carrying sacks of what seemed like foodstuffs into the storeroom in the kitchen.
The Princess couldn't take her eyes off him. The way the sweat in his body drizzled down his toned abs, the way his grip muscles were in full display as he used them to carry the heavy sack on his back was simply breathtaking to the Princess.
At some point, she was even drooling as she stared at him.
Her heart was burning with desire for him and she was dying to feel his muscles against her skin again.
If only she could just grab him and-
"Princess?" Master Filen called.
"Yes?" She snapped out of her daze.
"Let's have some tea," he said.
"Uh, my legs hurt and I can't walk anymore. Why don't we have the tea here?" She suggested.
She didn't want to leave this place and risk not seeing the werewolf again.
"Here? But don't you think somewhere else will be more conducive and less rowdy?" Master Filen was flustered by her request.
"Oh, this place is conducive enough. You don't need to worry, get the tea" she said and sat down on a bench.
"Uh, sure. Okay," Master Filen nodded and ordered the maid to get the tea for them.
"I should say, Princess, you seem to surprise me the more I know about you," Master Filen said.
"And you are just getting delicious the more I stare at you," the Princess smacked her lips as she stared at the werewolf passing by.
"Pardon?" Master Filen coughed and nearly choked on his tea.
Princess Divale quickly realized what she said and cleared her throat.
"What I meant was, you are more charming the more I get to know you," she corrected with a smile.
"Oh, thank you. I am pleased to hear that," Master Filen smiled, not knowing the underlying meaning behind her statement.
The Princess pouted her lips. She was in deep thoughts as to how she will get the werewolf's attention because each time he passed by her, he would move as though she wasn't even there.
She needed to grab his attention. But how?
She couldn't just fall, right? He won't even blink an eye in her direction after when she was about to fall from the balcony, he was smiling.
She needed something stronger.
~Think, Divi. Think`
Then a mischievous smile came onto her lips as a devious idea came into her head.
Oh, this Princess was up to no good again.
The Princess let the werewolf pass to drop the sack in the storeroom and she dipped her finger into the teacup to check the temperature.
~Not too hot. Just perfect~ she smirked.
Then she adjusted her leg in a position that anyone passing would fall by hitting her leg.
As the werewolf was on his way to pass the Princess's direction, he looked at her and met eyes with her.
The Princess gave him a wink before she deliberately poured the tea on her body at the same time, the werewolf stumbled when he kicked her feet.
Princess Divale let out a shriek as her dress turned wet but in her head, she was smiling.
~I got you, handsome beast~
