"Twenty-five troops into different parts of the Empire!! Yet a single female can't be found?!!" the Emperor roared.
"We are trying our best-"
The Prince was cut off when the King threw a scroll at him and it hit his chest before it fell to the floor.
"Your best?! Is this what you call your best?!" the Emperor's face went red as he shouted.
"How long has it been?! How long?!" He yelled.
"Five days, Your Majesty," Prince Kelle kept his eyes downcast.
Five days.
It has been five days since the entire empire was preparing for a feastful wedding, and five horrible days since the Princess had suddenly disappeared from her room on her wedding night.
When Lady Precelle stepped into the room after waiting for the Princess to give her permission for almost thirty minutes, confusion was an understatement to how she felt when she didn't see the Princess anywhere.
Not on the balcony, not in the bathroom, nowhere.
