The King barged into the room and everyone quickly dispersed for him to pass through.
He stopped right before the Princess but she didn't waver and kept on the act of fake tears and wails.
"What is this I hear of?!" He roared as he looked at his sons for an explanation.
"Father, apparently, Lord Derke has lost his marbles. He was caught trying to defile the Princess," Prince Kelle answered with a low bow.
"How on earth did such a thing occur and none of the guards were there to stop it before it went that far?! And where were you?!" the King turned on his son.
"I was in the hall, overseeing the last preparations-"
"If you had used your sense to increase the security around you sister, this wouldn't have happened!!" the Emperor hissed at his son, Prince Kelle.
"Apologies, Your Majesty," Prince Kelle bowed and Prince Kindare quickly followed as he didn't want to be another scapegoat for the wrath of his father.
