"And I have been meaning to ask you this, honey. I don't know how it would sound to you but it's a mother's instinct," the Queen said.
"Go on, Mother," the Princess nodded.
"Are you happy with this wedding?" the Queen frowned.
The question caught the Princess off guard and she was left staring at her mother with an open mouth.
"Wh-What do you mean, Mother?" the Princess stuttered and looked away.

"It's stupid, right? I know, I don't even know why I asked that" the Queen huffed.
"It's just-I don't know. You have been acting strange lately, your father told me you are just having pre-wedding jitters but I don't know why it seems more than that to me or am I overthinking things?" the Empress sighed.
