Divale started to fuss inside her head when Lukel stepped towards her with a teasing smirk.
"B-B-Because," her stuttering got even worse, adding to her misery.
She couldn't figure out what game he was trying to play by his manipulative question and knowing glances. It made her back arch up with slight apprehension.
"Because you might care for me more than you would like to admit, isn't that right, Princess?" Lukel finished off for her just as their eyes met up to be trapped in friction that shifted the nature of air.
Divale, unable to refute or counter his statement, blinked up at him, feeling a loss of what to do or say.
"Isn't that so, Divale?" He tilted his head as he stared at her and she felt like he was pulling her legs.q
"I-It's not funny," she let out, not amused by the fact he liked to tease her each time he got the chance.
