As they ran, the Princess took a look behind to see if they were being followed.
They both stopped dead in their tracks when they heard a loud groan coming from the Palace.
They knew who it was very well.
"F-Father," the Princess choked out but she was yanked forward as her mother continued running.
"We must go!" Empress Topal said with a strong conviction as they ran down as fast as their injured bodies could take them.
The sharpness of the Princess's ears made her hear upcoming gallops on horses right behind them.
"Mother, they are behind us!" the Princess whispered with fear and her mother picked up the speed.
They would have used their supernatural speed to run off but their body was too weak to muster up that energy.
As the Princess took a look back, her eyes met with one of the men and that made her lose her foot and fall down to the ground.
