Lukel left a bleeding Kever on the ground and strode over to the Princess who was shaking with trepidation, with concern in his eyes.
Just as he was about to reach out for her, the Princess laid her palm forward to stop him.
"D-Divale," he called gently as his legs stopped moving.
"Don't touch me!" She yelled with a fierce look.
Lukel fell silent as he didn't know what to say. He couldn't understand why she would talk to him like that.
"Divale, I-"
"Don't you dare come closer!!" the Princess got out of Lekali's hold as she stepped away from him.
"I just want to make sure you are fine," Lukel muttered.
The dark laughter that followed his statement was too raw to come out from someone like the Princess.
Her mocking cackles filled the room and it fell heavily on everyone's ears, especially Lukel.
"Divale," Lekali expressed her shock at the Princess's weird behavior.
