The Princess turned back when she felt someone holding her wrist as she was about to throw the branch into the burning fire.
Her body instantly picked up a deep sensation even before she saw who it was so she already knew who was behind her as she looked up at him.
The atmosphere went suddenly chilly as she stared up at his honey-colored orbs. The warm air that was spilling out from the fire now felt so cold that she got goosebumps all over her skin.
Her breath was cut in her throat and at a point, she couldn't even breathe due to how stunned she was by his presence here.
Her pupils dilated nervously as her eyes were slightly widened by her shock.
The deadly silence rang all over the air as he glared down at her with unsaid words pouring out of his eyes.
"You," he breathed out.
"Have no right to be a part of this," he pushed her wrist to his other hand as he dragged the branch away from her and threw it behind her.
