I'd be lost in the lake's flow as the water crashed back down, being pushed along by the tide, and I didn't care, I didn't. I would feel a peculiar presence descend the depths, and it was coming straight for me. It wasn't hostile though, in fact, it was happy, ecstatic. It wasn't humanoid, and I realized that immediately as it touched me. As for what it used to do so, I had no idea if they were tentacles or hands. The only thing I knew was that they wrapped around me, dragged me alongside it. It was massive, well, it wasn't as big as the monoliths, but it was large enough to create currents around its body as it swam. It was a good swimmer as well, as fighting the unnatural currents I had created, it still managed to surface in only a matter of seconds.
