Chapter 135 - Familiar Hell

As we approached the edge, I had expected my fear to set in, but nothing happened. It was no doubt the handy work of the monster, as not even my mind regressed into the pits of fear. I would overlook it for two reasons though. The first was that it was making my life easier and the experience more pleasant. As for the second, I couldn't have resisted if I had tried. So, as we stepped off the edge and hovered above the glowing waters, even though I wasn't forced back to that place, I would still think about it, how could I not.
