"I was right.You guys were really desperate to kick me out of the house.You couldn't have told me that if I was being a burden I could have just left without bothering you anymore.Why did you had to marry me forcefully."She started complaining feeling sad after hearing the old man's answer.
"Grandpa didn't meant that. Aiya,don't cry. You're now a grown up not a kid anymore."Granpa Bai's spoke, his voice carrying a helplessness and coaxing.
"What I mean that I can now happily die without any worry."
"No,don't talk about anything related dying.I don't want you to die."Bai Qinglin reprimanded the old man with a dominant tone.
"Ai, this child.Grandpa's no long old and will have to die one day.Now don't tell me you are going to beat up my grave after my death, huh."Grandpa Bai tried to make a joke.
Bai Qinglin did not know to cry or laugh at her grandpa's word. "No, I won't beat you up if you stay like a good boy.You're young and healthy so, why would you die?You're not allowed to die, you understand.You're prohibited to even talk about it again."
Grandpa Bai also fell into a great conclusion after hearing her."You won't even let me die.Do you think grandpa wants to die.I also want to stay and look after you.I want to see you living a happy life, having your own family. I also don't want you to marry any of those scoundrels.Pei, they're unworthy of my lovely granddaughter.I want to keep you close to me; dote on you and pamper you since I couldn't do that for your mother."The old man left out a long sigh and she could hear the remorse and sadness in his voice.

She doesn't remember much about her mother.Her mother died probably when she was five or six without any disease. Afterwards,her grandpa became everything to her.When she was nine or eight she went United States with her grandpa and usually came beck.
Growing up he didn't talk much about her mother or father.Whenever she asked about her mother the old man would be in tears and in grieve.Seeing him saddened she never had the courage to ask about her father.She though he might tell when she grows up but never ever he did.Therefore, she didn't asked again but still waited to be told.
