Samael looks up at me with wide eyes. "Is Beli coming over to play?"
"Erm... yes?"
The boy bobs from one leg to another. "Good. We can play destroyer."
I pale. "Um, what's 'destroyer,' Sam?
Miniature Samael smiles brightly. "It's where we destroy things. Boom!" He rams his head into my leg.
"Ow!" Off-kilter, I fall on my ass.
"Like that." Samael laughs, devilish. He runs circles around me. "Father made so many things - nebulas, galaxies, planets. And my brothers and I get to make them explode. Stars go boom!, and turn into black holes. Comets go bang!, like a gunshot. It's like building with blocks, then knocking them down." He attempts to help me up. "You should try it."
So angels of destruction toy with the universe when bored? I pray Belial will arrive soon. "I think maybe we should play something different, Sam."
Samael, suggestible, nods his head in agreement. "Okay. What should we play?"
"Hide and seek?"
