Chapter 69 - Lucifer

Fire coursed through me, a mad wanting that drove me to the brink of sanity. I struggled to rein it in, my breath ragged. I curled against him, wrapped around his form, lips thirsting for his flesh. He tasted like the air before a storm.

He quickly withdrew, smirking. I fell back from him, startled.

"You moved," he whispered.

"Kill me now and I'll haunt you forever!" I threatened.

His hair was starch blonde and long and curled, his eyes gray blue, his skin tan like a Grecian god – a simple pair of torn, stubby white wings leaking bone. There was a menacing devouring in his face, fangs and red lips drawn out with black serepentine tefillin tattoos binding him.

Lucifer, in full.

The beast that ate my dreams.

I shuddered.

"I think I might enjoy that."
