I met with Rosanna and Divya that day on campus at The Cheese Shop, which had the best sandwiches and bread ends all for a buck, and we drank lemon sparkling waters. It was finally April, and the flowers of Colonial Williamsburg were blooming, hydrangeas and tulips and tiger roses blossoming into being.
Rosanna sighed happily as she sipped a chai latte from Aroma's. "Wow, almost our second year over. We're growing up so fast, but as a baby goth, I can't let anyone know I'm not an immortal vampire."
Divya laughed, toying with her chakra. We were hidden under a copse of wisteria, and as I polished my keyblade, Divya practiced with her chakra, and Rosanna sharpened her machete.
"Uh, Shannon – what the hell is on your ring finger?" Rosanna said, her hazel eyes balking. "No me diga! You're ENGAGED."
I blushed guiltily, hiding it under white dogwood shade. "Uh…"
