Both of their eyes got interlaced with each other in an intense eye-lock. A yearning look was plastered on both of their faces. Their hearts palpitating in a rhythmic speed..
"Aren't you going to give me any goodbye message like others?" Ethan asked, looking down at Katherine who had her head bowed down.
Katherine didn't look up. But just nodded her head positively in response to him..
"Just want to remind you to not skip your meals and take care of yourself. Don't forget to call me everyday. And come back soon I am going to miss you a lot." Katherine muttered, repeating the same guidelines to him for the nth time.
Her voice was laced with sadness which could be easily noticed by the crack that her voice made while instructing him.
Although Ethan was standing right in front of Katherine, with just a few inches gap between both of them, but he was still not satisfied with the proximity.
