Soon a tear dropped from her eyes, hanging on her lower eyelashes for a few seconds, before cascading down finally and wetting a tiny part of her cheeks..
"I….I don't know what to say right now. I just ca…can't form any word to describe the overwhelming feeling. No one has ever been so much thoughtful for me except my parents." Katherine felt a lump forming inside her throat which made her stammer a little in between.
Ethan could feel what she was trying to say. So he just engulfed her in a soothing embrace and softly caressed her back as she burst into sobbing..
"How many times do I have to tell you that I don't like tears in your eyes. It literally pricks my heart. But no… You never listen.." Ethan softly scolded her, trying to stop her from crying more.
Katherine let out a muffled chuckle, with her face buried deep inside his chest and muttered in a low voice but loud enough for him to hear it, "It's called happy tears, stupid!"
