Katherine just rolled her eyes at him and said in a monotonic voice, "No…"
Taking a pause she sarcastically commented, "My ghost has made it!"
"Huh! What?" Ethan was completely confused by what he had just heard.
"Offo, Ethan! Who else is there in this house except you and I? No one! So obviously I would have made it, nah? You were taking a nap earlier..
So I thought why not to surprise you with my hand baked cake. But exactly the opposite happened. Instead of me surprising you, I was the one who got the surprise in return!" Katherine mocked, shaking her head.
Ethan just gave her a sheepish smile and said, "Well, I'm sorry for that Kathy. But now I'm already hungry. Can you please hand over the delicious cake to me right now? Seems like, I won't be able to control myself anymore."
Seeing him making a cute pouty face just like a baby, Katherine could only giggle at him.
Forwarding the cake towards him, she said, "Here, take it.."
