Jayden was still sitting beside his brother. There had been some signal issues and his parents were not able to call anyone. Marco tried to walk out of the house, but the doors and windows won't budge. Marco and Jane were really worried about this. But Jayden didn't have enough time to be worried. He was too busy crying. His emotions were under control and he wasn't crying anymore but he could still feel his heart crushing under the pain. It was almost 1 in the morning. He hadn't moved from his spot and he still sat there.
"He isn't dead, Jay! He will wake up in a day or two!" A voice said. He lifted his head and saw a man standing infront of him. He pinched himself hard, felt the pain and proved it to himself that he was still awake.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"You see, a group of evil doers, if they try to kill an innocent who was not in contact with them or had any of there belongings, would not die. That person will be unconscious and show no sign of Life. But will live. That is the same case with Braylan. I think he will be up by noon or probably by evening." The man explained.
"But why would someone want to hurt him?" He asked.
"That is complicated to explain. But he will live and I would request you to persuade your parents to not publicize this event. " The man replied with a smile and disappeared. Jayden started at the spot where he had disappeared and then a sudden thought hit him. What if this was Braylan's guardian angel sort of thing, who prevented and warned about danger just like the spirit boy!And now when he came to know that his brother will be back within no time, he could dance with joy. He ran to his parents and started explaining them about what he saw. His parents just listened and obviously they didn't believe him. But they couldn't say that as it made him a bit happier and they didn't want to loose their other son too.
Jayden didn't care if they believed him or not. He was eagerly waiting for his brother to get up. He now truly understood the importance of his brother. He was devastated by this incident. He didn't know for how long he would have continued without his brother, and then finally gave up. He was so happy that his brother was not dead!

Braylan was out of breath. He knew he would die soon. Every thing was going black. He was now submerged in the darkness. But he felt like the pressure on his throat is reducing. The strangler seemed to be distracted. There was some sort of fight between two invisible forces in which he did get hurt. Finally, the pressure on his throat was lifted. He saw Jayden hugging him and crying. H
'Heck! he is crying!' He thought. He wanted to laugh and say that he was okay but the words didn't come out of his mouth. He tried sitting, but no use! He had no control over his body! Marco and Jane, his parents were here too. Every one was crying. His dad performed CPR, but he didn't feel anything. The checked his heart, pulse and nose for any sign of Life. But nil!
Was he actually dead? Maybe he will be able to see and hear everything until he is burried. But this was weird. He felt bad. Jayden was blaming himself and the he shouted someone about hurting him when he ad nothing to do with anything. Weird! He was mostly hugged by either of his family members and Jayden wouldn't leave him for a second.
His dad, closed his eyes with shaky hands.
'Nooo!' he thought. ' I was able to see you all! Why would you do that!' He tried opening his eyes but they didn't obey his order. Annoyed, he let the warmth from Jayden's body soothe him. He was still sobbing Then he heard someone say Jayden that he is not dead and Jayden was all excited. He could feel the excited vibes.
"You didn't leave me bro! I am so grateful!" Jayden said. "I don't know if you can hear me or not. But I am waiting for you to wake up! He started pushing him and then laid him on something soft, his bed. He was feeling sleepy. He soon drifted off.

It was nearly evening when Braylon's eyes fluttered. They were still locked in their house with no internet or any other network. Marco was in the room and he first thought he imagined it. But then Braylan opened his eyes. Jayden was already on his feet.
"He's up! HE IS FINALLY UP!!" He shouted, dancing with joy. Braylan turned his head and-
"For how long did I sleep?" He asked.
"For more than 24 hours!" Jayden replied, smiling. Braylan had no recollection of the incident. He didn't remember what he heard or anything. But memory loss was probably just temporary and maybe it was not very significant. Marco finally believed that his son is back. He hugged the boy and reasoned himself that he probably didn't check the pulse properly as his hands were shaking.
Jane also came to the room after she heard the shouts. They were all happy but they knew that they will have to hide this or else everyone will think they are nuts and honestly, who would want to be called 'nuts', anyway?
Jayden was filling up Braylan. He mentioned everything while their parents were preparing for a family feast. Braylan heard everything and then slowly the memories of previous night came flooding back into his brain. Well, some of them were missing. Now it was Braylan's turn to talk and Jayden's turn to listen.
" I could hear you, feel you and see you. Well until dad closed my eyes. I was unable to respond! It was like some sort of enchanted sleep you know." He explained and Jayden was really surprised.
"Why were you feeling guilty anyways?" He asked, smiling and Jayden explained him and Braylan laughed.
"Shut up, you git!" He said, embarrassed and Braylan laughed again.
But there happiness didn't last long. All the doors inside Braylan's room, may it be closet, bookshelf or restroom, slammed open on their own. Closet and bookshelf emptied on the floor, the drawers in the study table were opening and their stuff were thrown out. İt was like some invisible force was wrecking the room.
"One who meddles with the business that doesn't affect him, shall suffer eternally.
One who tries to change destiny, shall suffer direly.
You have been warned, Oh Meddler!
Beware!
Oh Meddler we warned you again
Next time you will have nothing to gain!" The room echoed these verses. Braylon was pale and Jayden was equally frightened.
'What does this mean? When did they warn us before?' Jayden thought. But for Braylon, he understood everything perfectly. He now knew the reason why he was strangled was because he knew about the necklace. He had to be careful now. He was smart. Actually, sometimes, he was smarter than his brother too. He knew what to do. And this would help him in saving himself and his brother.

Georgia knew that they couldn't change their targets. Jayden had fallen into their trap unknowingly. She knew that once a person is cautious, they rarely fall into these traps. She was furious. An eleven-year-old boy succeeded in defeating her. She couldn't bare this. She never knew how to be defeated. Not when she was alive, and definitely not when she is a spirit. She wanted revenge. She had to get her revenge on this kid. She had an idea.
"Use Jayden!"
