Georgia was furious.
"How can you do that? You can't LOSE A PREY! YOU KNOW THE CONSEQUENCES! YOU ARE ALL IDIOTS! " She was shouting and the rest of the group, which consisted of 4 women and 6 men excluding her. Olivia was one of them. "Now we can't do anything. We all have to suffer now. Just because of your incompetence! "
"But Georgia, we have ring. You know the power of ring and amulet when they are combined. " Olivia said.
"I was planning that you give the boy ring so that he uses it instantly. Now how do you think we are going to give him? " Georgia replied furiously.
"Just like we gave the necklace. " A man replied.
"We will have to ask for help. They are not happy when we ask for help." Olivia shuddered.
" Do we have any other choice? " Another man asked. Georgia stared them all sternly and didn't reply.

Jayden was sitting in his room, lost in deep thoughts. He was thinking about the sudden urges he was feeling lately. A fair few of the urges were to hurt his family, especially Braylan. He couldn't explain it. It was strange. He didn't hate his family, especially Braylan. What was the reason behind these urges was a mystery for him. He didn't share anything with anyone. He wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do or not. So he simply started spending time alone. He was scared to hurt his family. His main fear was any urge that is uncontrollable might lead him into hurting his family. The only way out was isolating himself, which he did by making excuses of assignments and feeling sick. He spent most of his time thinking about these stuff. He was trying to solve the whole mystery by himself. He would think about the connection between him and the spirits fir hours and hours together and wouldn't get any satisfactory answer. He would think about the boy who wanted to help him and had disappeared after that, never to reappear. He still remembered his voice and the warning he gave just before disappearing. He could feel the strong arms that had one stopped him from entering the spare bedroom.
"Where are you? " He would ask many times to no one in particular. "I don't even know your name! But please, I call you for help! Help me solve this." He had repeated these words so many times that it had become some sort of norm for him to speak these to no one particular.
Today was also the same. It was Sunday and Jayden had felt like slapping and punching his brother for no reason at all while they were eating their breakfast. He ran upstairs so that he won't harm his brother or anyone else. He repeated his ritual of calling out to the spirit boy and then thinking about his new change in his behaviour. He was lost in his thoughts when someone tapped on his shoulder gently. He turned back to see who it was.
"Shhh! Don't make a sound. I am here to help you. " A handsome man was standing in front of him. He had never seen him before. When Jayden looked at him more clearly, he found some burn marks on his neck and arms.
"I had a small accident. It gave me these scars." The man smiled and replied.
"What do you want from me? " Jayden replied.
"I am a friend of Ares. You call him the spirit boy. " He replied with a smile. "I am here to help you. "
"Why isn't Ares meeting me directly? " Jayden asked suspiciously.
"Well he had some issues in travelling. He tried to come. But then he asked me to help you. "
"What is your name? " Jayden asked.
"I am Roger. Call me Rog. " Roger smiled. Jayden didn't reply. He stared Roger without even blinking. Roger smiled the whole duration.
"How can you help me? " Jayden asked after few minutes.
"I will bring the messages from Ares. Today he asked me to introduce myself and to make sure that you believe me, he said that I should remind you of the dream you had, when you were 8. Ares was standing on a beach and you wanted to meet him. You were running and red cloaked figures appeared and you woke up. " Roger said. Jayden stated him for a minute, as if he was trying to absorb this piece of information.
"How do you know about it? " He asked, after blinking several times.
"He asked me to say this to you so that you believe me and trust me. " Roger replied casually.
"What else did he say? " Jayden asked eagerly.
"Well, this was just an Introductory meeting. He wanted us to meet each other. He wanted to know if you will trust me or not. " Roger explained. Then "Oh I forgot! " he added, smacking his head, "He asked me to warn you once again. He said you should be very careful. At all times! " Jayden nodded, his sharp eyes trying to find something suspicious or fishy about the scenario. He couldn't find any reason to trust Roger or to not trust him.
"I need some time. I will tell you after a day or two. I have to think. " He replied.
" Take your time Jayden. See you tomorrow. " Roger smiled and disapparited . Now Jayden had another important topic to ponder on.
After several hours, Jayden finally reasoned himself to trust this Roger guy. He had mentioned the dream and the warning which were between him and Ares. Jayden had more reasons to trust him then to do otherwise. In this way, he could get help from spirit boy and he might finally be able to solve this mystery. 'Maybe Roger will help me fight off my mood swings. ' He thought. 'My violent mood swings. 'He corrected himself in his brain. Now all he had to do, was wait for the next day and ask Roger for his help.
"Jayden, visit the graveyard! " Olivia's voice echoed across the room, bringing Jayden's worst urge to harm and run with it.
"Oh no! " He whispered, digging his feet into the tiled floor to start his resistance.
