As Flaris hid behind the tree, her fingers crossed, she was still cursing in her heart. What would be the point of escaping anyway? She had no way running off from a planet and there was also no way that she could inform Wu Long of her escape. After all there were no cell phones here. People were used to doing magic!
Ha! Was she supposed to send a ball of fire looking for Wu Long? May be one that would scream at him about updating his security services! She had been kidnapped for so long by two different people and where was he? What happened to all those soldiers who had sworn allegiance? Weren't they supposed to be able to easily find her?
But either way, it was better to escape than await like a damsel in distress. Or rather she would be a damsel in distress but the 'distress' had to be of her choosing! She was not going to let some Queen use her as a bargaining chip.
