As Ivruss drove to the office, he felt a sudden pain in his heart. Shocked, he slowly parked the car to the side and stared ahead. What was this pain. It almost felt as if his heart was being pulled out. Closing his eyes, he concentrated on his body and soon understood what it was he was feeling and why.
Flaris was hurting. But why? His hands clenched and he wanted to race back towards the university to check on her but he stopped himself. She was not physically hurt. But something happened. He would have to ask Lupus to find out. He hated to push Lupus to her when he was close but to win against the Queen and the egomaniacal Fates but Flaris needed to form a bond with him also.
