Jin Teng knew that today was crucial to their future and thus he continued to stare up at the Queen. Even though he had let go of everything he valued in his life, his dignity, his honour, his promises. But he was not willing to let go of the hatred. In reality, he was not able to let go.
His eyes moved towards the woman standing by her side and he tried to calm his chaotic thoughts. He only had to focus on Finch only then the hatred inside him would subside. And in fact, if he were to suddenly be free of hatred towards the Queen, it would seem even more suspicious.
