Scars are a funny thing, you know. Some are invisible, painful reminders on our hearts of people and things past. Others are physical reminders of the past, good or bad. At times they can feel ever so permanent, and if you're lucky, they fade to a dull ache and seem to fade with the season. Even if I can't see it all the time, I know it's a part of me I couldn't ever forget.
