After shaking the cats paw, rose was surprised to see a floating blue screen in front of her face. She noticed it had her name on it, although it now read:

"What do these stats mean system? And why are they so low in everything besides magic?"
"Stats are what define this worlds peoples abilities. For example, your magic stat is maxed because the nobles in this reality just happen to be born with higher magical reserves than your typical low born person. The higher your magical stats the better your position. Magic is used for all the things in this world that you used technology for in your world. i would guess yours is infinite because i chose you. That, and the Princess just happened to be born with one of the highest magical stats in royal history. As for the rest of the stats, well the Princess was a spoiled brat who never had to do any real work. That would be why your other stats are so loe. But fear not Rose, when you complete my quests you will receive stat points that you can use to raise your stats. Now, are you ready for your first quest?"
"Bring it!"
The blue screen dinged, and Rose read her first quest
"Find the library and read up on your new world! Rewards: 10 stat points"
" Well that sounds easy enough, i'd better get started."
Rose didn't notice the smirk on system's face as she hit the accept quest button that appeared on the screen.
