Chereads / Chasing Her / Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

Khairro Lu emerged from the steaming bathroom with a white towel around his hips and water dripping from his hair. A smile crept on his handsome face, seeing where she was tucked up in his bed. The foolish girl whom he adored, who gave all of her to him.

He perched on the edge of the bed, realizing he forgot to bring his phone so he could set up his dirty shenanigans without her knowing a single thing.

She'll never know, he thought to himself.

The thought of her finding out about his extracurricular activities strung his chest with lava. He wanted to be hers only but, at the same time, many temptations were lingering around. Just like what they say "there are many fishes in the sea."

He wanted them all.

But, only physically no emotional attachment.

Of all the women out there he wanted only her-Farley Velasquez. He wanted to know her everything, the way those kissable lips curved into a smile. Everything that made her laugh; wanted every kiss and touch. He was possessive of her. No other man was allowed to have her, she was his and his alone.

He knew at the bottom of his heart that she wanted all of him too - too bad she can't have all of him.

Perhaps he is hypocritically disgusting.

Upon reaching his phone, his eyes caught the attention of a folded paper under the phone.

He raised an eyebrow realizing that the folded paper hadn't been there before. His heart skipped a beat.

Khairro

Her writing, on the side facing up.

What the hell? When did she write this? he bombarded himself with a load of questions.

She's right there curled in the bed, he thought.

Slowly, Khairro unfolded the paper. It was agonizing.

I know everything.

Staring at the words that had been written on the piece of paper held such strong force. The man with raven-haired stared understanding the meaning behind the words. He couldn't have the will of acceptance that those words can be powerful enough to destroy his sanity. It stung his eyes as an unfamiliar feeling washed away his whole being.

He knew the exact thing but he couldn't reprimand himself to think it.

Crumpling the paper between his knuckles, a strange emotion that he couldn't fathom. His heart pounded like a jackhammer against his rib cage. The hair on his back pricked, his face going cold while his limbs heated up. The paper puckered with the tear marks of the writer.

A sense of panic sneaking through his whole system though his face held no emotion.

This isn't true. How could she possibly know?

He can't accept the reality that she left him and didn't want to think about the letter that she wrote.

She had to be in bed. She hadn't left me alone, he thought.

Khairro twisted his body and stared at the person-shaped mound behind him. The raven-haired man reached towards the blankets, hoping that this was just a joke, a prank to be exact.

"Far?" he called, hiding the slightest tone of fear on his voice. He cursed under his breath when she didn't answer. Finally, grabbing a handful of the pristine white comforter and quickly ripping it off.

His eyes widened in horror upon finding a line of pillows. The last wall of hope crumbled.

He was angry and scared.

Throwing the comforter on the floor, tossing the pillows across the room as the reality slowly sinks on him. She left.

Searching through the closet, routing every corner of the room where she could fit her whole body.

He stood in the center of the room glaring with his clenched fist with annoyance he hissed.

"What the fuck? Where the fucking hell whole are you woman?"
