Finally, we executed our plan. We had to implement our plan smartly so that Abraham should not feel suspicious of anything.
We went to sit in the car. When I opened the back door Sierra rushed and sat in the backside with Vicky.
I made faces and with hand gestures asked her what she was doing. She gave me an indication and told me to sit in the front seat because Abraham will be driving.
She was thoughtful and thanks to her I sat beside Abraham. While he was dropping us Sierra told him that she wanted to visit a cafe and then she had to visit the mall.
Abraham didn't have any other option left and had to follow Sierra's order.
We stopped at the cafe on our way. Sierra went to order for us while Abraham, Vicky, and I were sitting waiting for her.
I noticed that he was uncomfortable sitting over there.
I asked him, "Are you uncomfortable?"
"Yeah, a little bit because of my back. I have a backache," he replied.
"Why don't you drag your chair a little forward," I insisted.
I was happy that he listened to me and dragged his chair.
I didn't know whether to ask him or not but I gathered some courage and asked him, "Hey, I hope we are not disturbing you. I mean you must be busy with your studies and schedules and we disturbed you."
"No, no nothing like that. I need such outings. I need to refresh my mind so I am happy that I had the chance to go out," he replied honestly.
I was relieved that he was not disturbed by us. Soon, Sierra joined us and we started talking.
Vicky was in school at that time so Abraham asked him why she wanted to leave her city and she replied, "Because I would meet hot guys when I will be in college."
We all started when she said that. Deep down I didn't like that at all. I wanted her to show her sincere side instead of her funky side to Abraham and Sierra.
I didn't know why but I felt a bit ashamed for the first time with her.
Our order arrived. It seemed I Was the only one who was hungry and as for three of them they were not hungry so they just ordered coffee and as for me I ordered coffee as well as three pieces of garlic bread.
Before I could start eating, out of courtesy I asked them if they wanted any. Although I didn't want to share my food, I was being nice.
Abraham just had food so he refused. Rest Sierra and Vicky refused. As soon as they said no I said, "Lucky me."
Abraham started laughing as soon as he heard that he said, "That's funny."
It seemed only he heard me although I just whispered. At that time I came to know that he was observant just like me.
We had many similar traits but I didn't tell him that. I didn't want him to know that I am some kind of weird person.
For the first time, I wanted to go by nature's flow, not human's flow. If we are meant to be together then we would be together no matter what.
I just left everything on time. Deep down I wanted him to be mine but I didn't want to rush anything. For the first time, I wanted to have patience in my life.
I just didn't want to lose him even as a friend. For the first time, I was afraid to lose someone. For me, both Abraham and Sierra had equal importance and I wanted both of them to be with me no matter what.
After the cafe, we hit the mall. While he was driving to the mall I didn't know how to talk to him. So I started thinking of some topic which we both would prefer.
I then started talking to him about the ongoing situation in the country. Luckily, he was interested in that. We talked during our journey.
When we entered the mall, Sierra and I started looking for some clothes.
Meanwhile, Abraham asked Vicky, "Why does Naomi feel overwhelmed whenever I respect her?"
"That's because it's you," Vicky smiled mysteriously and answered.
"I don't think I got you," he replied to her.
"I mean, it depends on the person. If I give her respect as you do then she won't digit, but it's you that's why she is behaving like that," she tried to clear his confusion.
"Oh, okay!" He replied.
She then came to me and told me the entire thing while Sierra was checking out stuff. Vicky joined Sierra and I was all alone.
A little later, Abraham joined me and our shoulders hit coincidentally. When his shoulder touched mine I had butterflies in my stomach. And my whole mind was empty.
I couldn't think of anything else besides him. I looked into his eyes secretly.
All thanks to Sierra that I was able to spend some time with her. I liked it when he was walking around me. While shopping we had a brief talk.
Vicky loved a few hair accessories and I bought them for her. She was like a daughter to me so I wanted to buy something nice for her.
We were almost done with shopping and went and sat inside the car. Today, I learned some facts about him.
Besides being nice and helpful, he was also observant, loves to study, straightforward and outspoken, fun-loving, and a secretive person.
I also realized that he was comfortable talking with me which was the most important thing. I think I moved one step closer to him. For me, it was a positive sign.
Abraham and Sierra dropped Vicky and me at my place. I asked Vicky in person whether she liked Abraham or not.
She said, "He is the greatest among all whom you have dated."
I was relieved when she said that. A little later Vicky went to her home.
