Dark into the night, Li Jin stood before the boys hostel of their college. A few meters away on the street, a few young men were drunk and were making some noise while coming back to the hostel.
They were those bullies who had stopped him in the toilet, and their 'senior', who was a young man in a blue shirt.
The young man was also walking behind the group of loud boys. From the way those young men often talked to him, it could be seen that he was famous among them. As the group made a turn to get on the college road, the blue shirted young man was suddenly pulled from behind, and neatly separated from the group.
"Hey! Who are you? What do you want?! Show me your face."
In a dark alley, the blue shirted young man had a black cloth around his head as he flailed his arms around in an attempt to injure the capturer.
But he got no reply. Suddenly, punches upon punches rained at him.
The young man shouted as he was hit but he got no reply.
"Aahhh! No, don't. Please don't hit me! I'll do anything you say! Do you want money? My father is a rich man."
Finally, a few minutes later the beating stopped.
"Give me money." A hoarse voice spoke.

The next day…
City S
In a suburban area, Li Jin was satisfied as he looked around the house.
The owner had been transferred abroad by the company so he put his house on a quick sale to get any money available for the house. The house didn't need much work as the family had taken care of it. It was a five bedroom house with a basement, not a common sight in this area.
If things ever got worse, he would run away and come here to live a secluded life.
Li Jin was happy that he only had to take care of the supplies and some reinforcements of the house. In one hour, just when he had completely checked the nook and corner of the house, the bell rang. It was a home-delivery vehicle.
He had already ordered some necessities while sitting in the park, before going to the party yesterday. It was a whole truckload of materials, including non-perishable food items.
There was a small garden around the house, and the materials were piled there in an inconspicuous corner, so that people wouldn't know what the contents of the boxes were.
It would be unusual for survivors to exist in this heavily populated area, but just in case someone comes here to scavenge for items.
The garden assured Li Jin that at least people wouldn't jump over the buildings and enter the house. They still had to climb over the high walls.
He had ordered many wildlife survival kits from the online store. Although their quality wasn't up to the level he wanted, it was still acceptable.
Packing a few of them in his travel bag, he packed all other things in the basement of the house. He had ordered various items like spare locks, steel, hammers, nails, etc. but wasn't going to keep these things in the open because there were chances that this house would be looted by the survivors. These items also emptied his bank account because of a significant increase in their prices recently.
'I wish I had space power to keep these things.' Li Jin sighed.
After the things were put in the house, he ordered a large amount of takeaway and gobbled down the food.
"Aaaaargh… Ha… Ha… "
A few minutes later, in an empty room, Li Jin was again stimulating his nerves to activate his electric ability. He concentrated in a part of his brain and tried to mimic the action of rotating the energy inside his body.
"Haaaaaaa…" After so many tries only a small streak of electricity had been produced. There had been no improvement since the day he activated his power; despite practicing regularly.
This was not gonna work, he had to do something. Li Jin concentrated on the part of his brain and tried to stimulate it more. It was dangerous, but this time, he gave the caution away to the wind. Pressuring himself to bear the strain and overwhelming pain he persevered until a trail of blood started dripping from his ears and-
ZZZZZZZZZT…
"Aaaaaaaaaaaa…"
Clutching his head with his hands, Li Jin flailed on the floor. Shock coursed through his body as he shuddered because of a large amount of voltage passing through his body. Eyes rolled above, Li Jin's body twitched as intense regret filled his mind.
With tears in his eyes, he laid on the empty floor, motionless.

Saturday
It was a normal day on Earth, with people living another day of their life, which would, as always, turn into a gray, inconspicuous area in their mind once they aged. They were happy and sad, pleased and angry; all kinds of emotions everywhere.
But, let's focus on what was happening outside Earth.
There were galaxies, stars, planets, and… asteroids. At this time, there was a big, huge asteroid very close to Earth… um… It was still a bit far from the Moon.
And, there was a missile traveling towards it. And, in the darkness, two species were also moving… flying towards it.
It was actually an important day for everyone. It would be often remembered by everyone on the Earth for years to come.
Was this asteroid going to change the life of everyone on the Earth?
Would the normal life- not remain normal?
And, would people's friends and families still be there to appreciate the change?
No?
…Or maybe they will be there… Instead in the form of the danger that would constantly threaten them.
