Opening his eyes, Issac looked around at the fair number of cracks along the crumbling walls as he continued his descent down to the depths of the darkness in front of him.
He stared at the cracks, unable to make anything out in the darkness, but the familiarity was there. Whether he wanted to admit it or not. The shuffling behind him is not doing him any favours though.
I thought I taught those two how to walk without making a single noise. They seemed to be doing well too.
Sighing, Issac stopped in his tracks and turned to the two, raising an eyebrow at them.
'Why did you stop, dad?" Emery asked, looking up at him with his one good eye, blinking blankly at him.
'Have none of you learnt anything from those training I put you through?' Issac asked, crossing his arms while staring at the two.
'What do you mean, dad?' Emery asked as Clause peeked out from behind him, looking blankly at the man as well.
