"I can't believe I took a week off work to follow some men go around town." Sid sighed, taking the cigarette from the woman's mouth and took a puff.
"Get your own cigarette." Uri hissed at him, lighting another one. "But, don't you think this is kind of fruitful? We got so much intel on Mr. Zaid."
"A lot of meaningless intel." The man said, pulling out his phone and looking through the notes. "He adopted a child, it would seem, from an orphanage."
"Is that official?" She asked, looking at the phone. "Yup. It is in his records now."
"How??"
"I don't know. But are you really surprised? He knows someone powerful enough that one of the most dangerous men in this city is escorting them in their 'shopping'."
"You are not wrong." She said, running her hands through her hair. "After that interrogation at the police station, I had a feeling something was off about him."
"But no one believed you."
