"Who was that woman, father?" Clause asked, clearing the table away after the clients have left. Emery was at the entranceway, turning the open sign to close.
"Why?" Issac asked, looking through the notebook in his hands.
"She seems important." Clause walked to the sink, washing the cups. "I was just curious if she was."
"From what I remember, she is part of the office of ministers," Issac said, thinking. "I am not sure her position though."
"No wonder she smelt like those people," Emery said, walking into the room, necktie completely undone now. "How do you two put that fake smile on your face? It was so hard for me."
"You did a good job, Emery." Clause said, grinning at the boy. "No one could feel the hostility coming from you."
"I was working on it after all." He said proudly, walking to Issac. "So~ dad~. About tonight~."
"Oh, right. Zadie texted me." Issac took the phone out of his pocket and handed it to the boy.
