Everyone in the room fell silent as they stared at the sleeping woman, trying to process everything she said, including the other things that the others said as well.
"This is heavy," Zadie said, shaking her head as she pressed her temples. "What time it is even?"
"1:23 a.m." Grant said, looking at the clock on the wall, "I think we should all try to go to sleep for the time being and see if we should talk about this tomorrow."
"Do you think we will be able to sleep?" Emery asked, looking at the man in the eyes. "With all that was revealed to us?"
"No." He said honestly. "But that does not mean we should not try. We are still humans, normal or otherwise, we need to try and sleep so that our brains will be able to rest."
"If our brains are the active ones, do you think we will be able to do that?" Emery asked again, leaning back on the sofa, pressing his temples. "How about this? Can we all sleep here? In the living room?"
