"Do you know those kids, Issac?" Royce asked, looking at the group with the twins and Raymond seated in the booth opposite to them.
"More or less," Issac said, looking at them as well before sipping his sugar-filled coffee. "They were with us when we went to that other dimension. They risked their lives to save Raymond so I am giving them the benefit of a doubt."
"Ah, I was wondering why you were so nice suddenly." Royce chuckled. "You don't usually let just about anyone stay around your children."
"You make it sound like I am a cold and unfeeling person," Issac said, smiling at the man as he placed his cup down. "I am nothing like that, Royce. I feel deeply often but I tend to do things that I do not entirely mean because of … fear, you may say."
Issac sighed, looking at nothing in the distance. "I am hoping that they will be able to make some friends and people that they can be close to.
"Because, the end is coming. I can feel it."
