"Are you ready, Raymond?" Issac asked, walking over to the boy, holding a windproof jacket in his arms. "Here, it gets cold at night."
They were outside the house. Jadin and Soren are going to be staying there while they are gone for the time being.
"Aww~. Is my absentee father now concerned about me?" He asked, smiling at Issac with a hint of bitterness in his eyes. "Well, you don't have to worry about me, father … I am not easily cold."
"But your body-"
"Is weak after the sacrifice ritual?" He asked, turning to Issac. "I am a lot stronger than you make me out to be. I have been through things you would not be able to imagine.
"Please don't try to act like you care. It is quite sickening to see." He said, waving his hands in the air as he walked away from Issac. "Let us act like we did before. How about that?"
"I can't do that," Issac said, seeing the twins walk up to them from the corner of his eyes. "You know why."
