"You should not be eavesdropping." Raymond teased, grinning at Issac who had his ears pressed up against the door, trying to listen in on the conversation.
"Perhaps I should not be." He said, moving from the door and sighing. "I am getting a little desperate, it seems."
"I could tell you that." Raymond grinned, walking up the stairs. "Are you coming? I am hungry."
Issac looked blankly at the boy in front of him, remembering the guilt that overtook him as soon as the boy glared at him in the cell.
I cannot read his memories and I can see that his ability did not affect me as much as it would have on other people. Perhaps because I am of his blood?
I don't know. But … he is not someone we should be letting our guard down in front of. I know where his loyalties lie and it is not with us.
That is a given. Though, I would like to know his honest feelings about me.
