"I wish that was the only lie spoken..."

Lillian glanced away, her eyes were solemn.

"My men have seen that the impostor woman had helped Eugene when he interrupted the wedding,"

"I am aware of that,"

Izekiel smiled humorlessly. The air had turned very cold all of sudden. 

But he didn't wanted to jump on any conclusions. It was a mockery of his trust when Nesrin lied about her identity, but regardless of all that she was still the person who had helped and whom he had began to admire.

There must be something more to it.

She must have a good reason.

Lillian's eyes flickered with slight irritation as she stated.

"Eugene has been helping the council," 

"Are you saying that Nesrin was in contact with him even after the wedding?"
