Chapter 11 - :) Under Editing Folks

"It's definitely not okay." Zane stood up with confidence and looked straight into the young lady's eyes, who were just meters away from him. She looked confused. Marcelo's face followed him as he gaped.

"What?!" Marcelo scoffed as he was trying to figure out Zane's facial expression. Zane's ears were unquestionably red, but his face said otherwise.

"It's perfect…" Zane patted David's shoulder, then his lips curled up into a big 'genuine' smile. "You look perfect to execute my plan, let's go." His face turned back to his usual lip-pursed expression as he left the shop, whose signboard read 'Marcelo's Men's Boutique'

Leaving Marcelo shocked and David speechless. She again looked at herself in the mirror before looking at Marcelo and smiling. Then she followed Zane's invisible footprint to the outside.

Marcelo was both shocked and confused. He knew Zane very well, but what Zane did today was totally alienated towards him. Zane acted so-out-of-him. And what about his red ears? Was he, perhaps, blushing?

Zane swung open the door of his car as he motioned David to get inside. She got inside with no hesitation. After reassuring that David got inside, he went to the other side of the car and helped himself to sit in the driver's seat.

For the last time, his gazes fell on David. She was undeniably looking perfect. Geez, Marcelo was the best stylist he has ever indeed. After all, he's his brother, Zach's personal stylist.

David blinked twice as her dolly shaped brown eyes met Zane's gaze, her brows knitted together instantly.

"Zane?"

"…"

David immediately held her hand in front of his face and snapped her fingers against each other, which helped Zane to come back into reality.

"Huh?" His eyes shuttered themselves twice because of the sensitivity. She removed her hands immediately.

"Let's go?"

"Oh yeah, sure." Zane dragged the seat belts from behind and secured them beside him inside the jack. He adjusted the left-wing mirror before he pulled over.
